OVERTIME STATUS: NonExempt

SALARY RANGE: $40.00 - 46.00/Hr

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Conduct Psycheducational Assessments
  •  Provide DIS counseling services
  • IEP development and documentation
  •  Provide direct, individual, or small group instruction to identified pupils per the Individual Education Plan (IEP)
  •  Participate in the multidisciplinary team process to include eligibility issues, IEP development, consultation services, and service delivery models.
  •  Participate in the development, monitoring, and the implementation of IEPs for students who qualify for psych services
  •  Prepare written evaluations and maintain records which document services provided, student progress and discharge from therapy
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
  • Maintain student and parent confidentiality

MINIMUM SKILLS OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Requires a Master’s degree in Counseling and/or related field (i.e. Clinical Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family therapy, School Counseling, etc.) with training and 2 – 5 years of experience working with students with learning and or social/emotional needs.
  • Registered and active license as an LMFT, AMFT, LPCC, APCC, LCSW, ASW with the Board of Behavioral Sciences and/or PPS (Pupil personal services) credential if a School Counselor or School Psychologist.
  • Experience working in a school or treatment setting for students with learning or social/emotional problems.
  • DOJ/FBI Live Scan Background & TB Clearance
  • Pro-Act, CPI, and/or CPR certification helpful
