Position Overview:
Saint Elizabeth School is looking for an elementary school teacher who plays a crucial role in the education and development of young students. They are responsible for creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment, facilitating the academic and social growth of children in elementary grades. This position requires a passion for teaching, strong instructional skills, and the ability to foster a positive classroom atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Curriculum Delivery:
- Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with the school curriculum and standards.
- Deliver engaging and age-appropriate instruction in various subjects
- Utilize different teaching strategies and materials to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity in students through interactive and hands-on activities.

2. Classroom Management:
- Establish and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Set clear expectations for behavior and establish classroom rules and routines.
- Manage student behavior effectively and apply appropriate disciplinary measures when necessary.
- Encourage student participation, cooperation, and respect among classmates.

3. Student Assessment:
- Regularly assess student progress through various methods, including tests, quizzes, projects, and assignments.
- Provide constructive feedback to students on their performance, highlighting areas of improvement and recognizing achievements.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and academic development.
- Conduct parent-teacher conferences to discuss student progress and address any concerns.

4. Individualized Support:
- Identify and address the diverse needs of students, including those with learning disabilities or special educational requirements.
- Differentiate instruction to accommodate varying skill levels and provide additional support or enrichment as needed.
- Collaborate with other educators, specialists, and parents to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) or intervention strategies.

5. Classroom Collaboration:
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and school staff to plan and coordinate instructional activities, events, and initiatives.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school-wide committees.
- Engage in effective communication with colleagues, administrators, parents, and guardians regarding student progress and school-related matters.
