Job Summary
Under the direction of the CEO or designee, the Community Schools Coordinator will serve as the bridge between the school and community partners to coordinate programs, services, and resources that improve the academic and social-emotional outcomes for students. This position will manage existing partnerships, identify new partners, and monitor program quality and impact by using a data and results driven approach. The Community Schools Coordinator will oversee and coordinate community outreach events and community volunteers. (See job description for more details)
Requirements / Qualifications
- Classified EdJoin Application - Three (3) Recent professional letters of recommendation (dated within the past two years) - Letter of Introduction - Resume 1. A minimum of (5) years of experience (development, sales, customer relations, etc.) or equivalent combination of education and experience. 2. Demonstrated success working in a high school or community agency is preferred. 3. Fluent in English and Spanish is preferred (both oral and written). 4. BA/BS Degree in Education, Psychology, or related field. 5. Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record. 6. Background check and criminal record clearance. 7. Negative TB Risk Assessment or TB test 8. CPR/AED/First Aid certification
Successful candidate must pass a criminal background check. Must also possess a valid California drivers license (good driving record) and have a valid CPR/First Aid/AED certification prior to the first day of employment. Candidate must be fluent in English and Spanish (both oral and written).

The salary schedule for this position includes four annual steps: Step 1 - $77,392.49 annually; Step 2 - $81,262.79 annually; Step 3 - $85,325.42 annually; Step 4 - $89,591.63 annually
