To be on call as needed to teach at various school sites.

Requirements / Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: A valid teaching credential through the Commission on Teacher credentialing, an Emergency Long Term credential. Must have a B.A., B.S. Degree and a valid Driver’s License and insurance. Fundamental Responsibilities: Provide instruction to at-risk students. Teach content and skills in the assigned subject matter. Develop and implement lesson plans for multi-subject and/or single subject curriculum. To improve academic skills and to provide career and vocational awareness/education. Instruct students in citizenship, and basic communication skills. This position needs to work effectively with multi-cultural/diverse groups, and have the ability to establish a positive relationship with students, possess knowledge of concepts in computers in an instructional environment. Must be able to work with cooperative group methods.
