The job of Coordinator, Teacher Effectiveness is done for the purpose/s of coordinating assigned programs within the Teacher Effectiveness and Preparation Programs Unit; providing information to others; and implementing and maintaining services within established guidelines and standards.</p> <p>This position will also create, monitor, and maintain content on the learning management system for the purpose of supporting Teacher Effectiveness programs; network with local, state and national experts in teacher effectiveness for the purpose of building partnerships and implementing the most current, research-based programs; and coordinate program components, support needs and materials for assigned area of concentration for the purposes of meeting grant/program guidelines.</p> <p>This position is full-time and will offer the certificated management benefits package, which includes medical, dental, vision, and life insurance coverage, and will participate in the CalSTRS state retirement system.</p>
Requirements / Qualifications
Education and Experience
Education: A Master’s degree in education, education administration, or related field; and
Experience: At least four (4) years of experience in a site, district or county-level administrative educational setting, designing, and delivering high-quality, professional learning that resulted in improved outcomes for students. Experience working with diverse student and adult learner populations is required. Professional development leading equity, diversity, inclusion, and/or whole-child initiatives for a school district is highly preferred;

Equivalency: A combination of education and experience equivalent to a Master's degree in education, education administration, or related field, and at least four (4) years of experience in a site, district or county-level administrative educational setting, designing, and delivering high-quality, professional learning that resulted in improved outcomes for students. Experience working with diverse student and adult learner populations is required. Professional development leading whole-child and/or community school initiatives for a school district is highly preferred.
Certificates, Licenses, Credentials:
- Valid CA Administrative Services Credential*
- Valid CA Teaching Credential
- Valid CA Driver’s License
* Individuals who hold a CTC Certificate of Eligibility are welcome to apply.
