Job Summary

Job Summary

Placer School for Adults is recruiting for a Temporary .5 FTE counselor to cover a leave of absence. This position will support students in all CAEP program areas, including High School Diploma/Equivalent, Career Technical Education, and EL Civics/ESL. The successful candidate will also serve justice involved students within jail facilities. Prior experience working with justice involved students and knowledge of wrap around transition services and resources is preferred but not required. This position will work at the PSA campus, Lincoln satellite campus, and in Inmate Education at the Auburn/South Placer/Nevada County jails. Work Hours: 6-8 hours per day Work Days: 3 days per week Selected candidate must be willing to provide services remotely when needed.
