EXPERIENCE: • At least five years of previous teaching experience and/or coaching experience. • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in technology instructional practices. • Previous experience providing instructional support and professional development for teachers. EDUCATION/CREDENTIALS: This position requires a valid teaching credential. A Masters in Educational Technology is preferred. KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES: KNOWLEDGE OF: • Principles of adult learning and staff development with an emphasis on educational technology and future-focused learning and skills. • Current literature, trends and development in curriculum, assessment, instruction technology, and professional learning and innovative practices. • Best practices for implementing technology in the classroom environment to support college, career, and life readiness, increase student engagement and learning outcomes. ABILITY TO: • Work with administrative leaders in carrying out the work and goals of the district that includes collaboration and team building through an interest-based problem solving approach. • Manage large scale projects and the ability to identify potential challenges; collect, analyze and present information; evaluate alternative solutions, and prepare sound recommendations based on data. • Work efficiently with all segments of the educational community and general public including all stakeholder groups. • Write, deliver, and disseminate interdisciplinary technology utilizing curriculum. • Exhibit enthusiasm for the use of technology as a teaching and learning tool and support District technology tools.
