Job Summary
Under the direction and supervision of the Executive Director of Special Education, provides school leadership in the area of mental health; assumes responsibility for psycho-educational assessment and evaluation; counseling; teacher and community consultant services; participates in school and District activities.
Requirements / Qualifications
Qualification for employment includes completion of on line training in the following areas: *New Employee Training *Preventing Workplace Violence *Bloodborne Pathogens *Sexual Harassment *Child Abuse/Mandated Reporter Upon offer of employment, candidates will receive information and directions regarding this training. Applicants must a valid California Pupil Personnel Services Credential authorizing School Psychology. Teaching and/or counseling experience and cross-cultural experience is desired.

Additional Salary Information:
* IUSD will accept up to six years of previous experience.
* Upon hiring, salary placement will be determined by the number of upper division/graduate level units earned from a WASC accredited four-year college or university. Units must be earned subsequent to the date of the Bachelor's degree.
* There is a $1,000.00 Doctoral stipend.
