ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTS: The following items are not required at the time of application but will be required of the selected applicant prior to employment: Copy of Valid CA Driver's License, Department of Justice Fingerprint clearance, Tuberculosis Skin Test clearance, Pre-Employment Physical/Drug Screen clearance, First Aid and CPR certification. Must be at least 18 years of age.

BASIC FUNCTION: Under the supervision of the Director of Outdoor Education, provides overnight supervision of students and volunteer counselors in the cabins at the outdoor education school; initiates and oversees recreational, social and group living activities.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Any combination equivalent to graduation from high school. Experience (paid or volunteer) working in an instructional, community, clinic or home setting with elementary or middle school-aged children. Experience with outdoor education programs, camps or youth-group activities is highly desirable.
LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: A current standard First Aid Certificate and CPR certification are required at the time of appointment.
BENEFITS: A Benefit Entitlement for health, dental and vision coverage is available for positions that are at least 4 hours per day. The amount of the entitlement is based on the number of hours worked per day.
