POSITION: Color Guard Instructor - Arroyo Grande High School STIPEND: $2,500 For 2024-2025 Season JOB SUMMARY: The color guard instructor is responsible for leading rehearsals and sectionals with the AGHS Color Guard This person should have an extensive knowledge of marching, flag, rifle, and saber Technique. They are also responsible for maintaining all of the equipment and making sure That equipment is ready for each performance. The Color Guard instructor is expected to Attend all rehearsals and performances. The AGHS Marching Band and Color Guard perform at all home football games, 1 out of town competition, and in 2 to 3 local parades throughout the fall. Fall Sports begin on August 1, 2024 PROCEDURE FOR APPLICATIONS: External candidates: All interested outside applicants must complete an online application via Frontline as an external candidate and include a letter of interest, resume related to sport experience, and one (1) current signed letter of recommendation or character reference.
