Job Summary
Under the direction of the Program Coordinator in the Instructional Services department, provides support in all aspects of the KIDS program. Creates curriculum and tools to support the use of data to guide decision making, instruction, and interventions. Plans and delivers professional development and meetings and develops resources to facilitate the professional growth of program participants. This position is located at the Larry E. Reider Education Center in Bakersfield, CA.

Education and Credentials: -Must hold a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. -Must hold appropriate California Teaching Credential(s). -Master's degree desired. Experience: -Successful teaching experience in a general and/or special education classroom. -In-depth experience and knowledge in developing and conducting professional development activities for adults. -Successful experience in curriculum development and implementation of reform documents, standards, frameworks, and student assessment. -Successful experience in the use of data to guide decision making and instruction. -Experience mentoring teachers preferred. Must possess a private vehicle, valid California driver’s license and carry current automobile insurance with at least minimum coverage for public liability and property damage. Fingerprint clearance by both the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the California Department of Justice is a condition of appointment after all other required job conditions have been met.

$81,042 - $128,615 per year, based on 25 steps. Additional $1,300 annual stipend will be paid for Master’s Degree; $1,600 for Doctorate.
