Oakland School for the Arts (OSA) is a dynamic, thriving, diverse charter school in an urban environment that serves approximately 800 students in grades 6-12. We are seeking a middle school Humanities Teacher to join our outstanding faculty. This is a full year 1.0 FTE position.

A holder of a Bachelor’s degree in English, History, Education, or a related field from an accredited institution. A possessor of a California Teaching Credential – Multiple Subject or Single Subject in English or History, with English Learner Authorization. Experience and passion for teaching ELA and history, preferably with an interest in integrating the arts within the curriculum. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, thriving in a creative, energetic, and diverse educational setting.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university California Teacher Credential in History An advanced degree in the content area is preferred
