Job Summary
The Placer Union High School District is recruiting for Internal candidates for the position of Deputy Superintendent. The Deputy Superintendent works under the direction of the District Superintendent. The Deputy Superintendent serves in the absence of the Superintendent and is vested with the authority of the Superintendent to resolve issues related to the day-to-day operations of the Placer Union High School District (PUHSD). In collaboration with Cabinet level leaders, the Deputy Superintendent provides general leadership and coordination for the PUHSD; provides leadership in the development of system-wide improvement strategies; and monitors progress within and across disciplines. This is a certificated management position.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Extensive and progressively responsible experience in administration, including site and district level. - A Master's Degree in related field (Doctorate preferred)
