Modesto City Schools is a Pre-K through 12th grade district, serving approximately 30,000 students. The District is one of the largest employers in Stanislaus County, with over 3,200 employees. Requirements / Qualifications

Experience working with school age students, or verifiable units in child development or related field; High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Certificate or California High School Proficiency Examination (CHSPE) Certificate; Completion of forty-eight (48) units of higher education study or obtained an AA degree or successfully passed the Modesto City Schools Highly Qualified Paraprofessional Assessment Exam; Valid CPR certificate; District-approved Restraint Certificate must be obtained within six (6) months of employment and renewed as required.

  • NCLB Compliance (NCLB Compliance (Applicants must submit a copy of an AA degree or higher, transcripts showing at least 48 units OR a copy of a certificate indicating you have met the NCLB requirements.))
