School Nurse Work days: 185 days + up to 5 additional days for full year District Benefit contribution: Single Plan $7,500 Member plus one $8,000 Family plan $8,500 If a member does not receive health insurance through CVUSD they shall receive $850 cash in lieu of health insurance.

Requirements / Qualifications

School Nurse Services Credential issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing. If currently not holding a School Nurse Credential, CVUSD will help with the application to obtain one with CTC of holding the following requirements: -Official transcripts showing a US (or US equivalent) baccalaureate or higher degree from a regionally-accredited college or university. -A photocopy of a valid Registered Nurse License issued by the State of California. If you do not hold the license, contact the Board of Registered Nursing, 1747 North Market Boulevard, Suite 150, Sacramento, CA 95834, 916-322-3350. -Completed application (form 41-4Open PDF in current window.), and, if not previously submitted to the Commission, a completed Live Scan receipt (form 41-LSOpen PDF in current window.). -Application processing fee. Letter of interest, resume and three letters of recommendation. One reference on your application must be from a past/present supervisor.
