Job Summary
Under the general direction of the Assistant Superintendent for Educational Services, the Director of Special Education directs necessary services, such as; but not limited to: Special Education, Student Study Teams (SST), school nurses, STARS, social work and homebound programs. The Special Education Department coordinates prevention and intervention programs and services to support schools, students, and parents by addressing the cognitive, behavioral, social, emotional, physical health, safety, and alternative education needs of all students to maximize student achievement.
Requirements / Qualifications
Master's Degree Two (2) to five (5) years administrative experience at either site or district level to include Special Education Letter of Introduction Current Resume Letter of Recommendations (3) - Current within 1 Year Copy of Administrative Credential and Teaching Credential
