Job Summary

Under general direction provides instructional leadership and learning activities in a residential outdoor school which delivers standards aligned instruction in environmental sciences; assists with pre and post-session planning; assists in the planning and activities of in-session training programs; uses effective assessments for all students; supervises on-site students; manages and provides direction as needed to visiting staff and volunteer chaperones/parents to maintain a positive and safe learning environment.

Requirements / Qualifications

Possession of a valid California Single Subject or Multiple Subject teaching credential authorizing instruction in introductory sciences. For applicants who have not yet obtained their credential, please indicate current progress in program.
