The Leggett Valley Unified School District is among the few four day/week Districts in California. We are seeking a highly qualified educational leader who will provide continued vision and leadership in the community. The Superintendent/Principal must have a proven record in instructional leadership, fiscal management, human resources, facilities, collective bargaining and experience in a diverse educational environment. Leggett Valley Unified School District is the Northernmost district in Mendocino County. The District Office and Leggett Valley Schools are in Leggett, just off HWY 101 on the South Fork of the Eel River. Our Whale Gulch schools are located an hour and fifteen minutes away, just north of the Sinkyone Wilderness on the Lost Coast’s Usal Road. We are a K-12 District with a district enrollment of 120+/-.
