LOCATION: SPANGLER ELEMENTARY WORK SCHEDULE: MONDAY - FRIDAY 1.75 HOURS WORK HOURS: 11:00 AM - 12:45 PM

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. ENTRANCE QUALIFICATIONS: Any combination equivalent to: Ability to read and write. One (1) year of food service experience is desirable. Ability to pass the District Proficiency Examination at the level appropriate to the job classification. KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES: KNOWLEDGE OF: Safety and sanitation procedure related to food preparation and serving. Care and use of standard food service equipment. Method of quantity food preparation, serving and storage is desirable. Interpersonal skills using tact, patience and courtesy. ABILITY TO: Cashier and to complete daily records. Follow oral and/or written instructions. Learn and follow health and sanitation requirements. Maintain food service equipment and areas in a clean and sanitary condition. Meet schedules and time lines. Maintain cooperative working relationships with those contacted during the performance of required duties. PHYSICAL ABILITIES: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Lifting, pushing and/or pulling which does not exceed 50 pounds and is an infrequent aspect of the job; wear protective apparel including goggles, face protectors, aprons, shoes and oxygen breathing apparatus; work around loud noise; work around moving mechanical parts; work around electrical current; standing and walking for extended periods of time; dexterity of hands and fingers to operate kitchen equipment; carrying, pushing or pulling food trays, carts, materials and supplies; reaching overhead, above the shoulders and horizontally; seeing to assure proper quantities of food; bending at the waist.
