Job Summary
Provides a comprehensive school health program for the assessment, evaluation, maintenance, and improvement of the student’s health to enhance their academic success and quality of life. Monitors the administration of medicine to students and provides necessary training to unlicensed staff members who will be supervising the administration of medication to students as allowed by law. Inspects and oversees the health needs of pupils when referred by the classroom teacher and keeps in contact with teachers on any health conditions noted. This position is part of the Special Services Unit at MCUSD/MCOE and will be placed depending on experience on the Special Services Employee Salary schedule. A full job description is attached.

The Mariposa County Unified School District is located in Mariposa County and serves grades K-12. With approximately 1,700 students, the area consists of several necessary small schools, K-8 schools, and one comprehensive high school.
Mariposa County has several rural communities that surround Yosemite National Park and are centrally located in California to provide a day's drive to old-growth forests, deserts, coastal communities, and cities.
