Job Summary

The coach is responsible for assisting the head coach with overseeing all aspects of the program. The successful candidate will be required to adhere to all local, state, and federal laws, directives of the Governing Board set forth in Board policies and administrative regulations, and all lawful directives of superiors including the rules and regulations of the California Interscholastic Federation and the standards of ethical conduct for interscholastic athletic team programs. The coach is to be an exemplary role model for the athletes, school, community, and District. The successful candidate shall recognize that the purpose of athletics is to promote the physical, mental, moral, and emotional well-being of the individual athlete.
