Job Summary

Job Summary

Reporting to the Personnel Commission, the Director of Classified Human Resources serves a dual role in that the position oversees the Personnel Commission activities pertaining to the Classified employees of the school district and also oversees the day-to-day human resources operational activity related to the Classified employees of the school district. Experience working in a merit system school district is highly desirable.

Requirements / Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in human resources, industrial psychology, public administration or a related field and five (5) years of progressively responsible human resources experience, including recruitment, classification, examination, and salary administration including at least two years of lead experience or two years of experience at the analyst level. Any other combination of education, training, and experience that could likely provide the desired skills, knowledge, and abilities may be considered.
