Metropolitan Education District (MetroED) is a regional provider of Career Technical Education (CTE) and Adult Education. As the largest organization of its kind in Santa Clara County, we are dedicated to offering career-oriented education to both high school and adult students. Annually, MetroED provides 2,600 diverse students with the skills to help them be productive, income-earning, and tax-paying contributors to Silicon Valley. MetroED collaborates with designated districts to provide comprehensive educational opportunities for adults and high school students. Through our Silicon Valley Career Technical Education program, we offer career technical education to high school students and, on a space-available basis, to adult students in the following districts: Campbell Union High School District, East Side Union High School District, Los Gatos-Saratoga Union High School District, Milpitas Unified School District, San Jose Unified School District, and Santa Clara Unified School District. Additionally, our Silicon Valley Adult Education provides courses for the San Jose Unified School District.

Under supervision of designated administrator, develops and facilitates effective instruction; evaluates progress; maintains proper classroom control and creates a supportive learning environment; assists in curriculum development. This position teaches the morning session: Monday-Friday 8:30am-11:45am (3 hours/day, 5 days/week)

Possess or be eligible for a CA Designated Subject Adult Ed or CTE credential in the appropriate subject area. Cross-Cultural Language and Academic Development Authorization
Required: a cover letter, a resume and three (3) current letters of recommendation (dated within the past year). Monday - Friday / 8:30am - 11:45am Part-time - FTE .50 This position is for the 2023-24 school year
