Full Time Teacher Aide/Driver for CREATIVE Special Needs School Community Based program Cypress School provides Autism and Behavioral Services for children and young adults with autism and other developmental disabilities. We are encouraging applicants that are positive, creative, engaging, and artistic. We engage in physical and community based activities daily. Preference is given to applicants with a BA and/or experience with students with autism and similar disabilities. Benefits are available for full time employees. We are hiring a full time or part time teacher aide/transportation aide (Monday Through Friday 7:30am-3:30 pm or 9:00 am to 5:30pm immediately. Transportation aides get paid to commute in our vehicles(7:30-3:30)! We pick up students in San Francisco, East Bay and Marin County area, drive them to our school located in Petaluma and back home daily in our school's 7 passenger vans. We are a year round program with 230 paid days per year. (Total hours per week are 40 hours).Must have clear driving record, clean criminal record and proof of covid vaccination required)),good references and be 18 years and older. Services that are provided by teacher aides include functional academics, independent living skills, communication, recreation/leisure, pre and vocational work training and sensory regulation activities.
