Requirements / Qualifications
1. A completed EDJOIN classified application 2. Copy of HS diploma or transcripts showing graduation or equivalent, or GED Certificate, or copy of college transcripts verifying a BA/AA graduation date or degree awarded. (No college diplomas or certificates accepted as Proof of High School graduation - transcripts only, unofficial transcripts ARE acceptable). 3. Certificate of Keyboarding/Typing of 30 NET WPM or more on a 5 minute timed test. **(ONLINE TYPING CERTIFICATES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED)
Certificate of Keyboarding/Typing of 30 NET WPM or more must include the following: 1. Name of Organization administering the exam 2. Your Name, first and last 3. Date exam was taken (current within the past 12 months of this posting) 4. Prior to employment, all applicants are subject to a fingerprint clearance through the Department of Justice (DOJ) and a fee for processing. Authorization of employment will not be granted until the fingerprint clearance from DOJ has been accepted.
NOTE: Testing is required unless proof of passing test score for “Switchboard Operator/Receptionist - Bilingual” from MVUSD is dated within the last 12 Months and is attached to this EDJOIN application.
CURRENT EMPLOYEES SHALL REMAIN IN A POSITION FOR AT LEAST ONE (1) YEAR FROM THE BEGINNING DATE OF AN INITIAL PROBATION OR PROMOTIONAL PROBATIONARY PERIOD (PER CONTRACT, ARTICLE 15).
