Job Summary
Under the direction of the Director of Student Support, the employee will provide General Education Speech and Language Multi-tiered System of Supports (MTSS) to students. The Speech and Language Pathologist serves as a member of the Student Support Team and will collaborate as well as consult with team members and the Assessment team. The employee will also assist in the development of MTSS within the non-classroom based/personalized learning model, implement a speech and language intervention program, and interpret screening results. This position is considered part of the Shared Staff MOU with CPA, MVA, and PCA and will work with the parents, students, Homeschool Teachers (HSTs), and all other academic staff within the three charter schools. This position is a remote position in which the employee will work from home. Some travel to in-person meetings will be required. As an employee of Cabrillo Point Academy, the employee will follow the responsibilities and procedures as delineated in the Cabrillo Point Academy Personnel Handbook.
