Job Summary
Under the direction of the Superintendent/Designee, organizes, directs and manages the District’s Classified and/or Certificated personnel programs and activities including: personnel recruitment and selection, staff evaluations, personnel record management systems, employee/employer relations and negotiations, legal consultation, and assist in the planning, development and implementation of Board policies, administrative regulations, and the strategies for achieving district goals and objectives. This position requires the person to be directly involved in the collective bargaining process.

Education/Experience/Licenses Any combination of education and work experience equivalent to: Associates's (AA) degree in Human Resources Management, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field. Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Two (2) years of increasingly responsible human resources experience, including recruitment, selection, labor negotiations, and computerized personnel management systems. Experience working with credentialing in a public education setting is strongly preferred. Travel: Must be able to travel to represent District and attend conferences, seminars, training, and other work as needed.

Fowler Unified School District offers a comprehensive health benefits program for employees who work 30 hours or more per week. At the time of this posting the district annual contribution is $18,771.00 of the premium cost of medical, vision and dental insurance for all eligible employees subject to change.
