Job Summary

Communication College Intern serves as staff support to the Public Information & Communication Officer (PICO) assisting in various communications based duties. Interns will be able to creatively influence and develop communication content that will be shared with our local community as they work to complete the requirements for their college program.

Requirements / Qualifications

This is a student internship for experience in communication. Applicant(s) must be enrolled in an accredited college or university studying communication, marketing, journalism, or a related field. Ideal candidates should have familiarity with Google Workplace, Social Media platforms (e.g. Facebook & Instagram), Microsoft Office, and basic video editing. Student interns must be able to work up to 20 hours per week, occasional evening and weekend events. We will work with scheduling to accommodate classes, extracurricular activities or other jobs. Student interns must have professional demeanor, punctuality and know when to use discretion. Bilingual: English/Spanish or English/Mandarin desired, but not required.
