Job Summary
Under the direction of a School Police Sergeant or Lieutenant, provide security and protection to students, personnel, equipment and property of the District; enforce laws and ordinances.
Requirements / Qualifications
Graduation from high school or passed the general educational development (GED) test indicating high school graduation level; and minimum of one year of full-time compensated law enforcement experience. Current employment with a California Law Enforcement Agency as a Sworn California Peace Officer that qualifies applicant for lateral employment in limited term assignments or separated from a California law enforcement agency as a Sworn California Peace Officer within the last three (3) years. LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: California Basic POST Certificate or equivalent, valid California Class C driver's license.
