Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a High School Diploma and one year related experience. (Must complete, at a minimum, an approved certification program or an AA in social work, human services, family services, counseling, or a related field within 18 months of hire). • AA degree in social work, human services, family services, counseling, or a related field and one year experience is desired. • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations • Ability to perform basic math; to compute rate, ratio, and percent; and to draw and interpret bar graphs • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists • Ability to organize documents accurately and to write using correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation • Ability to effectively communicate with community members and groups, managers, regulatory agencies, and families both individually and in group settings Pre-employment requirements: • Valid California Driver License and clean DMV record • Criminal background check required • Pre-Employment Strength Assessment • Pre-Employment TB test • Up to date records of pertussis, measles, and influenza vaccines
