Under general direction, coordinates and performs complex professional accounting work in the computation, recording, and reporting of financial transactions; plans and organizes the work of subordinate, technical, and clerical employees.
Requirements / Qualifications
Education: A bachelor's degree with a minimum of 24 semester or 36 quarter verifiable college coursework units in accounting from an institution of higher learning accredited by a regional accrediting organization recognized by the Council of Higher Education Accreditation. Foreign degrees and credit units require translation and equivalency established by an agency recognized by the Commission on Teacher Credentialing. Experience: Two years of professional accounting experience. Additional Requirements: A valid California driver's license and the availability of private transportation or the ability to obtain transportation between job sites may be required for some positions. Hybrid work schedules may be available.
