Job Summary
The Accounting Technician II will perform responsible duties of moderate complexity involving the technical and clerical processing of district accounting transactions. Responsible for performing a variety of accounting applications including auditing and paying vendors; compiling and maintaining data; preparing, maintaining, and processing financial record in accordance with authorizer guidelines, Generally Acceptable Accounting Practices, and California State Accounting Manual (CSAM) parameters.
Requirements / Qualifications
Education and/or Experience: Combination of education and training/experience equivalent to three years of college with focus in accounting, record keeping, and computer application principles and practices.
Competency test will be administered to qualified applicants. Must apply through EdJoin and upload all attachments named exactly as stated (i.e., Letter of Recommendation) in order to be considered for this position.
