Job Summary
Job Summary
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following: --> Attends training sessions, passes content assessment, and delivers designated instructional models for eligible students through utilization of Catapult materials and educational strategies --> Identifies and enrolls eligible students through existing test scores, administering tests, and/or other acceptable methods as required by Catapult, local, state, and/or federal agencies --> Develops and maintains individualized skill-appropriate lesson plans --> Ensures supervision of students at all times, including escorting students safely to and from Catapult classroom or to mobile/trailer classroom --> Establishes and maintains student forms and files as required by Catapult, local, state, and/or federal agencies --> Establishes and maintains a positive customer relationship with classroom teachers and principals, including providing achievement objectives and updated approved schedules of services --> Attends and documents conferences/meetings/trainings with Catapult Supervisors, classroom teachers, principals, and parents as required by Catapult, local, state, and/or federal agencies --> Conducts progress monitoring --> Write IEP’s and Implement accommodations and modifications in the classroom. --> Conduct and participate in IEP Meeting --> Create and Implement FBA’s and Behavior Plans --> Create weekly lesson plans that meet the needs of the students --> Maintains inventory of educational materials and supplies --> Must demonstrate positive and enthusiastic attitude towards internal and external customers

Credential Requirements:
- Special Education Certificate and Teaching Certificate
- A Valid Teacher Credential
- Candidates Eligible for a Credential may be Considered
Minimum Requirements for Educators:
The below requirements will be fulfilled for all educators working in San Diego Unified School District schools through IDEA. Credential areas considered for this pool are:- Early Childhood Special Education
- Adaptive PE
- Mild/Moderate
- Moderate/Severe
- Medically Fragile (MF)
- Visually Impaired (VI)
- Other Health Impairment (OHI)
- Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH)
- School Psychologist
- Speech Language Pathologist
- Any other special education teaching or non-classroom position
This pool is for individuals who hold a valid teaching credentials, or are enrolled in a college/university to attain a teaching credential, or are intern eligible through their college or university, or are eligible for a short-term staffing permit.
OTHER JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Must understand that all children can learn.
- Must demonstrate positive and enthusiastic attitude towards internal and external customers.
- Must be flexible.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office preferred.
- Must be available to work during the summer months.
PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT/WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Light lifting, walking, climbing stairs.
- Most programs are in school settings.

Hourly RateUp to $50 / Hour Depending on Education and Experience $1,000 Sign-on Bonus
The Company provides all classroom and instructional materials as well prepared lesson plans and paid training. Continued instructional and leadership support for all employees is also provided.
As a condition of employment, staff will be required to be either fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or produce a weekly negative Covid-19 test result. Prospective employees who are partially vaccinated (have received the first vaccination shot and are able to provide a photo of their vaccination card) are able to start work with the understanding they must be fully vaccinated within 45 days of their hire date and must test weekly until they are fully vaccinated. Unvaccinated individuals have the opportunity to demonstrate they are entitled to a reasonable accommodation with respect to this policy for a valid medical or religious reason. All staff are required to wear an approved mask, if and when reporting to a physical work site where they are interacting with others.
