Requirements / Qualifications

POSITION DESCRIPTION: Under the direct supervision of the Assistant Superintendent, Personnel Services, the Resolution and Compliance Officer shall manage all aspects of Uniform Complaint Procedures (UCP), Title IX compliance, Personnel complaints, formal complaint procedures, and informal complaint resolution; conduct complex and sensitive investigations; conduct grievance resolution meetings, and provide regular training for district and site leadership on compliance, complaint, and investigation procedures. This position is designated as a Certificated Management position and is part of the Management Leadership Team and Administrative Council. EXPERIENCE: A minimum of three consecutive years successful teaching experience in a K-12 public school setting. Three years of public school or central/county office administrative experience directly related to personnel services administration in an educational setting. Two or more years of experience in conducting personnel related investigations, facilitating resolution of grievances and/or processing discrimination complaints is required. EDUCATION: • Master’s degree in Education or related field from an accredited college/university required • Doctorate degree from an accredited institution, in a related field preferred CERTIFICATES/CREDENTIALS/LICENSES: • Possession of a valid California Teaching Credential and Administrative Credential appropriate for K-12 public school administration is required. Copies of credentials as required for the position must be provided with the application. • Valid California Driver’s License required You must provide copies of credentials as required for position or provide evidence of qualifying for required credentials with your application materials to qualify for the position.
