Job Summary

Job Summary

Poway Unified School District is looking for a credentialed (mild/moderate) Special Education teacher who can teach at the elementary level (Westwood Elementary or Park Village Elementary). Requirements / Qualifications

The Special Education department and/or school sites may contact applicants directly for interviews. Applicants must submit all required documents to be considered, including a valid teaching credential. CREDENTIALS REQUIRED: A valid California Education Specialist Instruction Credential - Mild/Moderate or other valid California teaching credential authorizing teaching in a mild/moderate assignment.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS: All required documents MUST be scanned and attached prior to submitting an application for this position. Incomplete applications will not be considered. 1. Applicants must have an English Language Learners (CLAD credential) in order to be considered for the position. 2. Copy of CBEST or equivalent required. 3. Copy of Transcript (Official transcripts are required upon hiring). 4. Current resume. 6. Letter of introduction, addressed to Charan Kirpalani, Director of Human Resources. 7. Three (3) letters of reference, signed/dated within the past 12 months. Applicants are encouraged to include at least one (1) letter of reference from a supervising or site administrator. Applicants who have never held a full-time position, are encouraged to have a letter of reference from a site administrator where they completed their student teaching. 8. For phone references, be sure to include the reference's most current cell phone number and email address. 9.
