This recruitment is to fill three vacancies during the the 2022-2023 school year and to create a substitute list. <p><em><strong> CANDIDATES WHO QUALIFY WILL RECEIVE AN EMAIL WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION PRIOR TO THE SCHEDULED TESTING DATE.</strong></em></p> Under the direction of a Principal, perform a variety of duties related to the supervision of children on assigned school grounds. Campus Supervisors are responsible for supervising play activities; enforcing school rules; settling pupil disputes; encouraging participation of all children in play activities; maintaining discipline, and compliance with school and District rules and procedures.

Education/Licenses/Experience: Any combination equivalent to sufficient education, experience, and/or training to demonstrate the knowledge and abilities listed above. Typically, this would be gained through: High School Diploma and some experience in the service child care. IMPORTANT – PLEASE READ! EMPLOYMENT & SELECTION PROCEDURE
All permanent classified positions are filled from eligibility lists which are created through the examination process. All applicants must achieve a passing score in each part of the examination process in order to be placed on the eligibility list. When a vacancy occurs, applicants in the top three available ranks from the appropriate list shall be scheduled for an interview. Applicants not selected shall remain on the eligibility list until they decline three job interviews, ask to be removed from the list, are hired, or until the list expires. List of viable candidates are retained for one year, unless the list is exhausted prior to the expiration date. Valid lists contain the names of candidates ready, willing, and able to accept employment, if offered.
EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS
Employment Verification: In accordance with the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986, the District must verify that all new employees, at the time of hire, have proof of their right to work in the United States.
Fingerprinting: State law requires that all employees be fingerprinted. AB1610 prohibits employment until the Department of Justice completes its obligations regarding the arrest and conviction information; and, from employing a person who as been convicted of a violent or serious felony, as defined. Prospective employees are responsible for paying their own fingerprinting fees.
Probationary Period: Successful completion of a 130-day or six-month (250 days or one year for management) probationary period is required before appointment to permanent status.
Health Benefits Eligibility Requirements: An employee is required to work at least 826 or more regular working hours from July 1 through June 30 in order to receive an employer contribution towards health benefits. Benefits begin the first of the month following your appointment date. Full time employees that receive the full district contribution must enroll in a medical plan.
Pre-placement Examination: All persons selected must pass a tuberculosis test and, for some jobs, must pass a preplacement medical examination given by a district appointed physician.
