*Valid CA Credential authorizing service in area of assignment. *Letter of Introduction/Interest *Résumé *Three Letters of Reference (no more than 3 years old & must contain a signature) *CBEST *Exam Results for the following, IF APPLICABLE: -CBEST -MSAT -RICA -PRAXIS/SSAT -CSET *Program currently enrolled in, if applicable: -Pre-Intern -Intern -Induction (BTSA) *Official Transcripts, from all Colleges & Universities attended - Must be legible for proper screening ***All documents submitted are used to determine if applicant is eligible for an interview. Therefore, it is to your benefit to attach all applicable materials to your electronic application. Interested teachers employed by the Calexico Unified School District must apply via Edjoin, and must attach a copy of the required credential.
PLACEMENT ON SALARY SCHEDULE: The starting salary for a new teacher who holds, or is eligible to hold, a California Preliminary or Clear (or equivalent) credential shall be step 3 within the appropriate column. EXPERIENCE: Newly hired certificated employees shall be credited with no more than eight years of prior certificated experience and will be placed no higher than the ninth step of the salary schedule.
