Job Summary

Under the direction of an assigned supervisor, assist a certificated teacher in providing instruction to individual or small groups; monitor and report student progress.

Requirements / Qualifications

Six months experience in working with children in an organized setting and (A) completion of at least 2 years of study (48 semester units) at an institution of higher education; or (B) possession of an associate's (or higher) degree; or (C) graduation from high school and passage of a formal state or local academic assessment that demonstrates knowledge and the ability to assist in teaching reading, writing, and mathematics or reading, writing, and mathematics readiness.
