St. Mary’s Academy, located in Inglewood, California, is currently seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Principal. St. Mary’s Academy is an accredited, Catholic, college preparatory high school for young women, in the tradition of the Sisters of Saint Joseph of Carondelet. St. Mary’s is the longest, continuously operating Catholic girls’ high school within Los Angeles, with 130+ years of shaping women of distinction who are committed to life-long learning and service. The school enrolls approximately 250 students, is staffed by 30 dedicated certified and classified persons, and is governed by a Board of Directors. Together with the students’ families, the administration, faculty, and staff are committed to forming a Christian community that nurtures and challenges each young woman to attain her full potential. St. Mary’s Academy is seeking a candidate who will serve as a model of educational, spiritual, and social leadership for our school community. The preferred candidate will be a practicing Catholic with an earned Master’s Degree, a secondary credential, and a minimum of five years of teaching and/or administrative experience at the secondary level. Compensation will be competitive within the Los Angeles Archdiocese and commensurate with the applicant’s education and experience.
