Human Resources Manager/Director Presentation High School, located in the heart of Silicon Valley, is seeking experienced candidates for the HR Director position. Full-time/Part-time: Full-time Classification: Exempt Reports to: CFOO with indirect reporting and regular collaboration with the President and Principal. Position Summary Reporting to the CFOO, the Human Resources Manager/Director is responsible for the direction, planning, and implementation of human resources functions and activities. This person serves as the liaison and go-to resource for a broad range of Human Resources needs including Employee Relations, Employee Benefits, Employee Engagement & Retention, Employee Development & Performance Management, Staffing, Legal Compliance, Recordkeeping, and the administration of related HR programs. A significant role of this position is to have a pulse of the organizational climate to develop recommendations/programs to attract and retain colleagues, as well as maintain, support, and enhance the diversity of the community. This involves managing employee relations matters, including advocating and coaching/advising the appropriate parties as appropriate. The successful candidate will not only maintain a strategic role but will also be required to be “hands-on” in completing administrative tasks. Education Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field required Advanced degree or Professional Certification in Human Resources (e.g. SHRM-CP/PHR) preferred Experience 7-10 or more years of progressively responsible experience working in Human Resources management Prior experience working in a school environment is a plus.
