DINUBA UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT ADMINISTRATIVE VACANCY NOTICE POSITION AVAILABLE: ATHLETIC TRAINER District Office-Start & end times vary. QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Bachelor’s Degree, preferred from an accredited athletic trainer program. Any combination equivalent to: Work experience relevant to the population served; two or more years of professional or volunteer experience performing functions and duties similar to Athletic Trainer. 2. Valid California Driver License and proof of valid auto liability insurance. 3. Recognize, evaluate, and assess injuries and provide immediate care when needed. 4. Plan, prepare, and conduct injury assessment for athletic events. 5. Plan, prepare and conduct individual and group training sessions. 6. Read, interpret, apply and explain rules, regulations, policies and procedures. 7. Maintain current knowledge of program rules, regulations, requirements and restrictions. Manipulate and configure data to form statistical analysis. 8. Set limits and personal boundaries for students. 9. Assist with curriculum development. 10. Complete work with many interruptions. 11. Analyze situations accurately and adopt an effective course of action. 12. Maintain records and prepare various reports, including confidential materials. 13. Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others. 14. Maintain consistent, punctual and regular attendance. Sit, stand and walk for extended periods of time. 15. Must possess National Athletic Trainer’s Association (NATA) Certified (Required); CPR, First Aid; AED; Sudden Cardiac Arrest; Water Safety; and Concussion Certificates.
