TGR Foundation is recruiting an educator to work as a Professional Learning (PL) Facilitator in a unique learning program under the Professional Learning department in Anaheim, CA. The individual selected will enjoy an exceptional professional opportunity to support and facilitate innovative trainings and empower educators in collaborative environments. This career opportunity is uniquely suited to those who love to explore innovative teaching/learning approaches and thrive in an environment that prepares educators to deliver high quality STEM experiences to their students. TGR Foundation’s educator Professional Learning program is dedicated to broadening access to high quality learning environments and unlocking student potential. Our educator trainings focus on inquiry-based Instruction with an emphasis on interdisciplinary approaches to learning using examples in the content areas of design, STEM, and career connections. Continued learning opportunities, through virtual training, in-person training and TGR EDU: Explore, an online digital platform, allows educators to adapt to new pedagogy that is inquiry-based, hands-on and emphasizes positive youth development and student empowerment.
Requirements / Qualifications
Minimum bachelor's degree in education or a STEM discipline required; teaching credential highly preferred Minimum 4-years of experience in education working directly with youth and educators in formal or informal environments; previous experience in STEM-related fields preferred.
