The Encinitas Union School District is seeking a dynamic and collaborative Teacher on Special Assignment (ToSA) for Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) for the 2022-2023 school year. Currently, this opening is at Mission Estancia Elementary School.
The ToSA - Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) will be responsible for coordinating and implementing the district-wide MTSS plan. This will include academic, behavioral and social emotional support; providing support to site staff in running targeted intervention programs, and collaborating with district support staff to ensure programs are effective, equitable and implemented with fidelity. At this time, funding for these positions is available for 2 years.
Applicants selected from the paper screening process will be invited to interview following pre-interview reference checks with references listed on the EdJoin application. The interview process consists of a panel interview, a written task and a performance task.
Salary is based on 15+ units above bachelors degree and up to six years of teaching experience in a public school setting.
Additional stipends available:
$1,500 for Doctorate
$1,000 for Masters
$1,000 for National Board Certification
$1,000 for Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Successful candidates will be required to pass fingerprint background check, physical and drug screen and provide negative Tuberculin Skin Test result prior to working in Encinitas Union School District. Fingerprinting and TB test at applicant's expense. Physical/drug screen paid by EUSD.
