Effective July 1, 2022 through the last day of school for the 2022/23 school year there will be a temporary increase of the substitute teacher rates as follows: Assignment Rationale Daily Rate Day to Day All Substitute Assignments,(Excluding Retired VUSD Teachers) $190 Long Term After the 10th day of a consecutive school day in the same assignment (Including Retired VUSD Teachers on Day One) $200 Testing Release All substitute Assignments in COVID-19 Testing Released Roving Positions or a District Assigned Daily Roving Substitute. $200
