Job Summary
Under the direction of the Director of Student Services or designee, the MTSS Mental Health Social Worker provides direct and indirect social work services to students experiencing social, emotional and/or behavioral problems that interfere with their performance in school.
Requirements / Qualifications
Completed application Resume 3 Current letters of recommendation Pupil Personnel Services credential in Social Work MA degree in Social Work or related field of study
*Licensure as a Clinical Social Worker desired *Two years of K-12 Social Work experience, preferably in a school setting and/or previous experience working with underserved youth *Knowledge of current prevention and intervention programs *Experience collaborating with community-based organizations, law enforcement and other government agencies
