Job Summary
Located in a rural setting in the mountains east of San Diego, Mountain Empire High School serves approximately 400 students in grades 9-12. We offer small class sizes averaging under 30 students per class in a majority of our core subject classes. There is ample opportunity for teachers to become involved in the school community and to forge positive relationships with students. Our students come from diverse backgrounds and many become deeply involved in the opportunities provided by our school and dynamic teaching staff.

Teaching High School Social Science classes in a departmentalized setting. As a director of learning helps students learn subject matter and skills that will contribute to their development as mature, able and responsible men and women.
A valid CA Single Subject credential in Social Science and/or with appropriate supplemental; CLAD certification or EL Authorization. Must have the knowledge and ability to implement the subject matter, philisophical, social, and educational concepts relative to the duties and responsibilities of a school teacher.
