Job Summary

Our Lady of Grace School is a transitional kindergarten through eighth grade Catholic School in the Sacramento Diocese and is seeking an energetic, enthusiastic, and dynamic PE teacher for our TK-8th grade program. This individual will incorporate our Catholic Virtues, School Mission, and PE standards in their daily curriculum. This individual will facilitate student learning through physical education, utilize classroom management skills, and supervise students. The ideal candidate will be pleasant, creative, organized, and collaborative. This individual should be a faith-filled role model and have a positive attitude, love and value students as individuals, believe all student can succeed, be a strong communicator, value structure and organization and have clear expectations. The instructional aide respects Catholic values and aids students in Christian formation by exemplifying Catholic living, both in and out of the classroom. The instructional aide is a paraprofessional hired to assist the classroom teacher by providing help in meeting individual student needs and creating the best possible learning environment. Mindful of the importance of student growth and achievement the aide assists the teacher in each student’s special progress or needs.
