Atascadero Unified School District 5601 West Mall, Atascadero, CA 93422 Job Opportunities DATE: July 12, 2022 POSITION: ATHLETIC TRAINER Atascadero High School Start Date: 2022-2023 School Year HOURS: 8 hours a day / 200 work days per year SALARY: Special Services Salary Schedule (Step A - $33.63 to Step F - $40.67) - Benefit package includes various comprehensive health, dental and vision insurance plans for employee, spouse & dependents. - CalPERS Retirement. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Complete job description available at the District Office - Bachelor’s Degree** from an accredited college or university in athletic training, health, physical education, kinesiology, or a related field. - A Master’s Degree in Athletic Training from a CAATE accredited college is preferred. - Certification as a Certified Athletic Trainer from the Board of Certification for Athletic Trainers (BOC) - Basic principles of athletic training, kinesiology, physiology, nutrition, diet and first aid. - Ability to pass DOJ/FBI Fingerprint clearance - Valid California Driver License. - Current CPR and AED for the Professional Rescuer Certification - TB Clearance required prior to working.
