Conducts a health services program at one or more schools for the evaluation, improvement, and protection of the health of students and school personnel in accordance with state law and district policies and procedures.
Requirements / Qualifications
•Must hold a valid California School Nurse Services Credential or willingness to pursue. •Possess a Registered Nurse license issued by the State of California, Department of Consumer Affairs. •Minimum education is a Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing. •Current BLS, First Aid and AED certification •A valid California Driver's License and the use of an insured automobile (do not attach to application) •Previous experience working as a school nurse is preferred. •Spanish is highly desired.
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT All employment offers are conditional, based upon the successful completion of the following: Fingerprint/background clearance and a tuberculosis clearance and proof of COVID-19 vaccination status. If you are hired, we will require you to prove that you have received the COVID-19 Vaccine(s) or have a valid religious or medical reason not to be vaccinated. A physical examination clearance is required for certain positions for the district. All candidates with a record of convictions must indicate such on the confidential/legal section of the application, which is attached to the job application.
