BASIC FUNCTION Under the supervision of an assigned administrator; provide, facilitate, implement, and coordinate community partnerships, programs, and services; collaborate with site administrators and the Family and Community Engagement Coordinator to ensure that parents, students, and the community at large have access to District programs; collect, analyze, monitor, and leverage relevant data and other resources to ensure alignment, expansion, and improvement of services; organize, staff, and oversee community representative committees to identify priorities and set goals; and performs other related duties as required. ***Please note that this position will be funded through at least the 2026-2027 school year. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION: • Required: A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in communications, social services, education, school counseling or a related field. EXPERIENCE: • Required: Three years of professional experience working with children and/or adults in a community development role, such as developing and administering training programs, interacting with community groups, counseling adults or working with community service agencies, including one year of management experience. • Substitution: One year of working as either a Family and Community Engagement Specialist (FACES) or a Senior Administrative Assistant at the Anaheim Union High School District (AUHSD) can be substituted for the required management experience. LICENSE AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: • License/Insurance Certification: A valid California driver license and availability of private transportation or ability to obtain transportation between job sites is required. • Secondary Language: Positions in this classification are required to speak, read and write in a designated second language (Spanish).
